A fantastic new role has been created for a Channel Development Executive to join the UK's leading field marketing agency. You will be responsible for managing and cultivating the consumer channels for one of the UKs leading telecoms providers.
The client is one of the key accounts for the field marketing agency. The Channel Development Executive reports into the Field Manager so you will receive the support and management guidance to develop in your role.
Working closely with the client and the agency you will be responsible for cultivating excellent relationships with the consumer channels across the South West of England and South East Wales. The role is home based, although you will manage your diary to ensure that you meet with and build relationships with the enterprise and consumer channels.
The Channel Development Executive may have a sales background, so be confident in working within the dealer channels, giving training and presentations to ensure they are up to date with the client products and services. In addition you will liaise closely with the marketing services team and Head Office departments.
The Channel Development Executive role is a mix of account management, sales, training, events and IT. So the role offers a mix of skills that would provide variety to the individual. You may therefore have a background in one of these areas or of course a mix of all three!
The Channel Development Executive will have a good eye for detail, be able to relate to clients, dealers and the consumer channel. In addition you will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, understand the products and relate to them, and have tight time management and organisation skills.
