A leading multi channel retailer based in central London is seeking a product marketer for either their confectionary or toys department.
Main responsibilities will be:
• Manage the promotional strategy and process – collate and gatekeep promotional nominations from buying departments.
• Coordinate the promotional planning and review process and identify opportunities.
• Manage deadlines in line with the corporate promotional calendar.
• Manage the POS briefing process to ensure that all approved POS is produced and delivered within the business.
• Deliver strong and productive supplier relationship and activity within the category.
• Coordinate nomination process for advertising, windows, hot deals, perfect partners and other promotional channels.
• Manage advertising briefs.
• Manage and drive marketing campaigns and new product launches with key suppliers.
• Manage all non gondola space according to space matrix.
• Keep up-to-date with competitor promotional, retail and marketing activity.
• Input into competitor analysis via implementation team.
Previous retail product marketing experience is necessary for this role as well as strong communication skills and POS experience.
