Group PR Manager

Our client is an exciting retailer based in Hampshire they are looking to take on a Group PR Manager, the key purpose of the role is to support the Head of IR and Group Communications to ensure effective management and performance of the Group PR function, including strategic planning for the year's PR activities as well as the running of an efficient press office, with specific responsibility for UK consumer and trade PR.
Role and Responsibilities
Create and deliver the PR strategy in the UK.
Manage day to day running of the press office, on and off line
Develop relations with key UK media
Manage photo calls and oversee media competitions.
Develop and manage proactive PR campaigns
To maximise profile and coverage
Skills Required
PR or journalist experience
Commercial Awareness
Analytical ability.
Organisation and Planning skills
Sound knowledge of UK media processes and relevant contacts
Working knowledge of MS computer software would be advantageous
