Brand Manager/Marketing Manager/Product Manager

Our client is a successful, privately owned company with a strong brand portfolio, who has been supplying innovative wallcoverings to leading retailers around the world for over 60 years.
The company drives design and colour innovation through a vibrant design studio and associations with top designers; including Julien Macdonald, Wayne Hemmingway, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and Linda Barker. The company also fosters young british design talent through relationships with The Royal College of Art and Central St Martins College, and provides its own Home Interiors trend predictions twice per annum.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to join and support their hard working team in Blackburn, Lancashire. The primary function of this role is to devise, implement and manage the product plan for your product categories, ensuring that sales and margins are maximised through vigilant management and excellent product development.
You will be the expert for your product categories, delivering best practice on range, segmentation and own label development, ensuring that the product margin is enhanced to agreed targets and that sales volume is capitalised, and ensuring that all products are launched into the market place on time and to budget.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within either Brand or Product Management, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present a product to a variety of people at all levels. You will have a high level of computer literacy, ideally with some working knowledge of design software, and will thrive on working under pressure and to deadlines. A full driving licence is essential.
