Body Shop International - Fragrance Category Development and Innovation Director
Based: London
This is a senior creative marketing role focusing on the fragrance category. The Fragrance Category Development and Innovation Director will develop and support delivery of the strategy building the international success of the fragrance category in The Body Shop range. The Fragrance Category Development and Innovation Director will lead and inspire the fragrance team and take ownership of the New Product Development and event planning processes, to deliver profitable growth through a strategy that always reinforces the values of The Body Shop.
This senior international marketing role has a fully global remit across the fragrance category, managing such key The Body Shop ranges as White Musk, Love Etc & Japanese Cherry Blossom. At the heart of the creative and innovative marketing that is the hallmark of The Body Shop, this role combines the challenges of both commercial and creative marketing in a retail context.
Our client, Body Shop International plc is the original, natural and ethical beauty brand, with over 2,500 stores in more than 60 markets worldwide and is part of the global L'Oréal group.
Educated to degree level, the Fragrance Category Development and Innovation Director will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a similar senior creative marketing role position with a large complex multi-site retailer, consumer goods or luxury organisation. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge and experience of NPD and launch to markets, complex project management experience and the ability to control a large budget.
Previous international experience or exposure to a varied and demanding client base will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be as passionate about fragrance as they are knowledgeable and will combine a sound analytic skill set with strong creative thinking.
