A leading non food retailer based in Surrey is seeking a talented E-Commerce Manager.
Main responsibilities will be to:
- Be responsible for the commercial success for the e-commerce transactional website, ensuring that the site is administered, maintained, developed and marketed appropriately to maximise profit opportunities.
- Recommend and implement e-commerce practice and procedure in relation to supply chain and customer experience, to deliver enhanced profit generation.
- Manage the day to day operational efficiency of the website to ensure successful completion of customer transactions
- Oversee 3rd party affiliations that support the e-commerce strategy, including internet system providers, suppliers and other business partners.
- Work with the marketing team to deliver advertising, marketing, promotional and supplier revenue objectives, including measurement of success, e.g. traffic generation and conversion.
- Recruit, induct and coach direct reports to ensure each member of the team is competent and confident within their role to achieve an acceptable performance levels.
Transactional e-commerce experience is necessary, preferably within a large retailer. Experience of managing affiliates is preferred, as well as managing a team.
