A large multichannel retail and consumer services group is looking for an experienced Online Manager to create and implement a strategy for their growing e-Commerce business and build awareness of the brand online.

About the role

To provide leadership and direction to the online team ensuring sales and margin budgets are delivered through an integrated multichannel approach and a strong online proposition. Drive short term planning and the long term online retail strategy that will ensure the customer experience is leading edge in the sector and reflects e-Commerce best practice. Key responsibilities include:-

  • Creating the long term vision for online and the associated investment plan to deliver continuous growth.
  • Ensuring a relevant pricing & promotional strategy is in place for products, services & prescriptions & that synergy across channels is achieved.
  • Delivering an enhanced customer experience
  • Leading the development of an eCRM strategy to grow the online database and optimise e-mail communications to build loyalty and repeat purchase

 What we are looking for

Our client is looking for :-

  • Extensive experience of building and managing a successful online business
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strong customer focus
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in online marketing, web development, content management technology. SEO, PPC, functionality and reporting
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal and written)

Salary

An excellent salary is available £70 - 90K + Bonus + Benefits
