A fantastic career opportunity has arisen within the online function of a market leading retailer on a fixed term contract The business is continuously improving the multi-channel and online offer and you will be responsible for web exclusive products as well as focusing on trading the existing product ranges that are available online.
Working alongside the commercial team but with a specific remit to understand the web market, market trends and competitor activity in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for the further development of a successful channel through negotiation, range development and promotional activity.
Essential to success in the role will be taking ownership of the customer offer delivered through our websites, the ability to be internally collaborative with strong communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally. The role will also require an understanding of Far East sourcing and a good understanding of supply chain issues to be able to consider the impact on the supply chain to minimise stockholding without adverse impacting on the customer experience.
