Job Description

Superb opportunity to work for this ambitious award winning boutique consumer PR consultancy. They are based in a trendy location of central London and boast many well know names within the sport, lifestyle and general consumer arena.

They have a need for a competent AM - it is a rare opportunity which will allow you to work across restaurants, travel, fashion and lifestyle within one client. Not only will you be involved in the general day to day PR function but you will work alongside design agencies, marketing consultancies and advertising agencies whilst overseeing all of their communication activities.

You will liaise with various media, organise events and branding partnerships, act as press office, work closely with overseas tourist authorities and generally ensure that this major client gets all the coverage it deserves.

The Role

Reporting into an AD on each account, you will be responsible for

• Day to day management of your accounts and implementation of campaigns
• Managing account execs to ensure we deliver against our objectives
• Writing and editing press releases and PR toolkits
• Helping to organise events
• Hands-on involvement with media sell-ins and other implementation
• Building a strong working relationship with client contacts
• Forward planning and writing proposals for clients
• Managing client fees and project budgets
• Involvement in new business activity, including pitching

The Person

Degree-level educated (minimum 2.1 with strong A level results)

• A consumer PR all-rounder with proven relevant experience within a respected agency, already operating at AM level
• An interest in retail, fashion and culture with a good knowledge of fashion, lifestyle and consumer media would be an advantage
• A strong writer, ideally with experience in developing toolkits for international PR campaigns
• Some events management experience
• The ability to manage the delivery of campaigns, from proposals through to implementation and reporting
• Strong client handling skills and the ability to quickly form strong relationships
• Management ability to work lead and manage account execs
• Strong writing and editing skillsSound knowledge and understanding of the role social and digital media play in consumer campaigns
• The ambition and personality to succeed and progress in a growing agency
