As our Account Executive, you will play a key role within the team, supporting the Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with managing the day-to-day relationships between external clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will also manage new scheme implementations in order to meet key commercial deliverables and act as a liaison between the company and any client servicing issues, e.g. complaints.

We are looking for an innovative problem solver with passion and drive to develop their future with AXA.

* Proficient user of standard Microsoft packages including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Upon completion of my A-Levels, I was successful in ing to AXA Travel Insurance to work on their International Emergency Medical Assistance team. I spent 12 months working alongside a brilliant group of people whose sole focus was to help customers who had found themselves in stressful and difficult situations whilst abroad either through injury or illness. AXA had always known than I wanted to work abroad and therefore when the opportunity presented itself to move to Switzerland to study to become a ski instructor, I left with their blessing and a promise that if I was ever home and wanted to come back then I would be welcomed back with open arms. I spent a great 2 years in Switzerland and every time I came home to visit family and friends, I would return to AXA. This freedom and flexibility extended to when I went to university and would often spend my holidays working with AXA.

After completing my degree I wasn’t sure what career path I wanted to take, however when I was approached by AXA Assistance to for the role of account executive my fond memories of having worked for AXA Travel Insurance made me excited about the prospect of starting my career with a company that I knew well, trusted and that had a brilliant customer based ethos. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to be successful in my application and began the start of my career in Insurance. Despite having no knowledge or experience of Home Emergency or Motor Breakdown products, I was supported by everyone in the team in building that knowledge and experience. This learning period of 11 months cemented my opinion that I had made the right decision in joining AXA and when the first opportunity presented itself to for an internal promotion, I was actively encouraged and supported by both my line manager and the HR team to . This encouragement and desire to promote from within AXA gave me great confidence when approaching this next step and thankfully I was successful in my application for the role of Senior Account Executive. Following my move into the role of Senior Account Executive, I was afforded the opportunity to push myself to become more experienced at account management and manage my own accounts alongside the guidance and support of my line manager. They actively encouraged me to take responsibility of managing my clients and to develop an effective relationship from the outset. This support and guidance were crucial in helping me develop my relationship management skills over the course of the next 2 years. During this 2- year period I was constantly supported by not only my line manager and the extended team but also by the company, where I was provided mentoring by senior members of the AXA leadership team. This support and guidance helped me to develop not only as a person but as a member
