Account Lead, base flexible with UK travel.
The Government Services’ division provides a range of services to all parts of the public sector. It is responsible for managing multiple complex services to organisations such as Transport for London, NHS England, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department for Education to name a few. It also provides repeatable, transactional services to local authorities and NHS Trusts. The divisional growth team is a team of exceptional people whose role it is to source, scope, design and – ultimately – win new sales. We work across all the entire division and with our clients to provide flexible, innovative solutions that excite them and that support their current and future challenges. Our work supports the growth of the division and Capita through the co-ordination and delivery of bids to secure new deals and by working with our clients to grow account revenue.
Our Account Leads have a central role within the growth team, taking responsibility for growing and developing the critical accounts within the Government Services’ division. As a senior member of the growth team, the Account Leads take responsibility for increasing our pipeline of opportunities and managing live opportunities through the entire sales cycle from origination to contract implementation. It is anticipated that such opportunities will come from both within the existing account and through leveraging the account collateral to pivot to a new client base or territory.
The role involves working with business managers both within the Government Services division and across Capita to significantly increase revenue for the division. Our large, complex accounts have the potential to impact on or require input from multiple services streams across Capita, and therefore the role supports cross-selling across the business. The role therefore requires significant collaboration and the ability to establish effective working relationships across large and complex teams.
In addition, the role is client facing, taking responsibility in conjunction with our business managers for delighting the client and bringing innovation that will ultimately support growth.
