AXA PPP healthcare has an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager within the Business Development team.
You will be responsible for the new business development and retention of AXA PPP healthcare’s portfolio of Employee paid Group schemes and Individual Personal campaign business.
You will be actively managing the portfolio of both the Employee paid group schemes and the Individual Personal campaigns, the role will involve negotiating on renewal terms, the day to day management of accounts and identifying new opportunities within the existing portfolio to increase revenue to reach our ambitious sales targets. Additionally you will be targeted on development of new business opportunities via brokers and direct B2B discussions.
An integral part of the job is to build strong, on-going relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners including brokers, flex providers and large corporates. You will be responsible for all aspects of business development, account management and retention. As well as increasing sales revenue of PMI, you will need to identify opportunities to promote AXA PPP healthcare’s growing range of non-insurance products.
The role will require you to work with the marketing team and the client to create effective sales campaigns and communication plans. You will also help drive the Group scheme and Individual Personal campaign internal comms strategy, liaising with other business areas to increase lead volume.
Whilst this is an office based role, there will be requirement to attend external client meetings.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
* Large Corporate and SME Account Management experience essential.
* Previous insurance experience essential.
* An understanding of health insurance desirable.
* An understanding of AXA PPP, Health-on-line and PHC products would be desirable.
* Previous experience in account management and client relationships with brokers, flex providers and corporate entities.
* Ability to quickly build rapport and strong on-going relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
* Strong communication skills in both telephone and face-to-face negotiations.
* Experience of B2B and B2C sales.
* Self management to proactively drive to deliver against sales targets.
