An exciting opportunity has come available to join one of our Desk Based Account Support teams in Virgin Media Business. The Account Support Executive will help support our Account Managers and major customers to grow accounting revenue through cross sell, upsell and revenue retention activities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responds to all enquiries from customers within the same day.• Ability to see and understand up sell and cross sell opportunities.• Makes and answers all calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner.• Takes responsibility for ensuring that accurate product information is provided to customers at all times.• Generate leads and meetings.• Works on tactical and focused campaigns, to uncover opportunity and where necessary working with the marketing / campaign teams whilst ensuring correct reporting lines are followed.• Achieve all KPI’s relevant to the role.• Drive positive NPS activity within the accounts.• Attend team meetings and contribute as necessary on their individual performance, any successes, failures, opportunities and threats• Be proactive towards self-development.

Typical knowledge, experience and skills:

• Good sales, influencing and negotiation skills• To have the ability to understand Key Performance Indicators and plan activity to achieve individual KPI’s.• To have a good quality, consistent understanding of product portfolios for both products and solutions offered by Virgin Media Business and our direct competitors in the market place.• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate confidence and be able to influence customer choice and manage customers’ expectations.• Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with other departments to facilitate and co-ordinate their efforts to fulfil customer needs.
