Affiliate Marketing Manager
£45,000 to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
My client is an award-winning business in South Yorkshire. As part of their expansion plans for the end of 2017, they are looking to appoint an Affiliate Marketing Manager
responsible for ensuring the business achieves its digital sales targets across performance channels driving our ambitious customer growth plans.
Your primary responsibilities will be managing the affiliate programme and paid search activity, across all product lines, to deliver the sales volume targets at agreed cost per acquisition. Developing the affiliate marketing strategy, increasing sales performance and managing the performance marketing team, affiliate partners and media agency relationships will also be key to the role. Developing relationships with BT and EE is also essential to ensure aligned strategies across performance channels.
This is a high profile role within the business and the role holder must be commercially astute, a great relationship builder at all levels and passionate about digital marketing. Experience in managing an affiliate programme, either client or agency side, as well as PPC exposure and knowledge is essential.
The role includes working closely with other teams in commercial and marketing to optimise plans and drive new digital innovations to increase conversion and sales performance. It would suit a self-starter who is passionate about digital and delivering sales results. As digital is such an important channel, it is a role that will give great exposure to senior members of the business and opportunities to grow your career.

*Demonstrate experience of leading and managing performance marketing channels, especially affiliates and paid search, but a good rounded knowledge of digital
*Passionate about affiliates and great understanding of the UK affiliate industry
*Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
*Solid knowledge in website analytic tools such as Google Analytics
*Commercially astute, highly numerate, good at analysis and data driven
*Experience in managing marketing agencies and other technology vendors
*A great communicator, influencer and confident when presenting to senior management and external partners
*Sales focused, action orientated and results driven
*Experienced in managing individual and team performance in a sales environment
*Sales focused and goal orientated
*Ability and experience in seeking out new sales opportunities and either driving change within the team or working across departments to exploit them
*Strong influencing and negotiating skills
*Degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing qualifications e.g. CIM or IDM
*Passionate about affiliate and great understanding of the UK affiliate industry
*Knowledge of affiliate tracking and ad serving technologies
*Strong commercial instincts - experience of framing commercial problems and developing optimised solutions. Ability to make difficult commercial trade-offs
