What will I be doing?

Work closely with the Senior Performance Media Manager to ensure that the affiliate network strategy is in-line with the overall business objectives
Be responsible for the strategic growth of our publisher network – with a focus on Tier 1 publishers
Own the content strategy across the program, ensuring all creatives and copy are compliant and adhere to brand guidelines
Optimise the CPA and promotional tenancy strategy in line with channel level trade requirements
Grow the relationship with existing publishers as well as on boarding new partners
Build out a framework for competitive benchmarking and market share analysis
Own the day-to-day affiliate operations management including reporting and validation
Analyse results to produce insights and recommendations to improve affiliate, partnership, and channel specific opportunities
Work with the affiliate network team to ensure that our affiliate platform profile is kept up to date and perform regular audits on publisher sites to ensure compliance
Explore new opportunities and innovative approaches to grow our affiliate program both within our existing network and beyond
Participate, where possible, in affiliate industry events to strengthen affiliate relationships and grow the network
Become an expert in Affiliate Marketing and educate the wider Digital team
Collaborate with other business functions, including Digital Operations & Insights, Finance, Product and Tech
Contribute towards an innovative and inclusive working environment
Ensure we have the relevant tools and reports in place in order to effectively validate transactions and measure performance
Work with risk and compliance team to ensure fraud prevention is taken seriously and customer impact is limited
Provide support to the Performance Media team on a range digital channels including PPC, Display and Native
Attend regular Performance Media trade meetings to keep abreast of wider digital marketing performance, and update on Affiliate Marketing performance

What skills and experience do I need? ­­

Essential



Affiliate marketing experience (gained working for a media agency, technology vendor or publisher)

Proven history of successful delivery of affiliate marketing programmes – with a focus on performance (ideally gained on retail, travel or finance clients)
Use of affiliate network platforms (ideally Awin)
Experience of building and maintaining strong business relationships both internally and externally
University degree minimum 2:1 or relevant work experience/training
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and good presentation skills
Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Able to think both strategically and tactically depending on the business needs
Fast learner and self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
Organised and detail-oriented

Nice to have

Use of digital marketing technology including PPC bid management, DSP, DMP, AMP, Analytics, and Social Media Advertising
Use of DMP and DSP for Programmatic Display campaign targeting and management
Use of Attribution Management platform for algorithmic exposure to conversion analysis
A marketing or industry qualification (e.g. CIM)
Excellent Excel skills – skilled at advanced data manipulation (pivot tables, etc.)
