Your role:

We are looking for an energetic, experienced and enthusiastic agency sales person to grow and develop one of our biggest agency groups, GroupM. The person will report into the Group Head


-Generate new business opportunities from new and existing contacts, primarily selling Weve mobile solutions (mobile messaging, display, measurement solutions)

-Evangelise key benefits of Weve and mobile marketing opportunities to teams across agencies, from digital through to comms planning

-Day to day management of leads and opportunity pipeline

-High pipeline conversion rate to ensure that targets are exceeded

-Internal reporting on business territory including revenue updates and industry feedback

-Negotiate budgets, rates and upselling of campaigns

-Entertain clients to stay front of mind, from industry events to social engagements

-Ensure that contacts have up to date knowledge of opportunities and case studies

-Work closely with the client direct team to optimise efforts

-Co-operation with internal teams, including operations and account management to ensure execution of service delivery and fulfilment of campaign objectives

-Able to focus and prioritise to ensure that all clients are well serviced to a high standard

Demonstrable Experience:

-Demonstrable experience in sales

-Experience in Digital is ideal (mobile experience desirable but not essential)

-Positive self-starter that uses own initiative well

-Relationships and contacts within Wavemaker

-Creative thinker, not put off by solutions that aren`t initially clear

-Excellent communicator, able to simplify a solution for customers of all levels

-Engaging presenter, equally happy in front of an individual or a large crowd

-Extensive contacts and ability to build relationships across all levels

-Deep understanding of how media agencies work

-Outstanding reputation across the industry

-Able to generate leads and follow through to sale

-Experience of being able to grow new and existing business

-Able to close deals and exceed targets
