We are looking for an ALM Programmer to join us on a 12 month FTC to support
the Head of Pension Strategy in developing and maintaining the pension scheme
models used for setting strategic assets allocation and investment planning. As well as assisting in the automation of the wider team’s
BAU processes to improve efficiency.
In this role you will be responsible for:
ALM modelling of
and refinement of UK liability model
of pension schemes replicating portfolios for nominal and inflation hedging
valuation tools for the longevity swap
and integrate cashflow matching portfolio model within UK liability model
and maintain ALM model using AXA’s proprietary model Sunrise.
and leverage ALM model approaches and ideas with Group or other entities.
STEC proxy model for pension scheme and company
the production of reports
* Automate existing reporting processes to improve
efficiency of the team
Computer/Programming or relevant degree/qualification,
with relevant work experience
* Coding and modelling capacity – Proficiency in
C++, C#, VBA, Excel an advantage
* Basic knowledge of pension scheme liability and
* Effective communication and written skill – experience
in model documentations an advantage
* Statistics (Monte Carlo simulation)
