Assistant Brand Manager - FMCG
We are a leading supplier of high-quality bakery products, who are looking for a talented Assistant Brand Manager to build our Fast-Food Bread brand and assist with our Sweet Pastries range.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has started their marketing career but is looking to develop further and broaden their experience and responsibilities.
As part of the Marketing team, you would be responsible for building our market leading Americana brand and Foodservice business, through effective marketing activations, to drive growth within wholesalers, foodservice and retail outlets. You would have the opportunity to create and deliver your own campaigns and provide strategic support to our Foodservice and Wholesale team. You would take the lead on our PR and digital activity, including developing the brand website and working with our International Digital team to develop new initiatives. In addition, you would also be supported to own the relationship with one of the top 4 major multiples. In return, you would be rewarded with an attractive salary and benefits package.
We are looking for a candidate of graduate calibre with a minimum of 18 months marketing experience. The ideal applicant would also be able to demonstrate examples of digital marketing and creative marketing outputs, as well as experience within the UK food industry and B2B environment.
The role requires a self-starter, who is able to identify strategic marketing opportunities and deliver creative campaigns aligned with annual brand plans, that will engage our target customers. You will enjoy the freedom to develop content and activation methods that help achieve the brands' goals and relish the challenge of driving engagement of your ideas through the business.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills, creativity and a focus to deliver results. You will be able to exhibit an understanding of brand planning and campaign evaluation as well as a desire to build your knowledge of the product, consumer behaviour, and portfolio performance. Strong organization and prioritisation skills are key to this role when managing multiple agencies and projects successfully to deadlines.
