The Role of Associate Director - Digital Marketing:

The Associate Director - Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and will be responsible for establishing company wide best practices across email, website and PPC.

This is a technical hands-on digital role, it needs someone that is a digital marketing expert, ideally with hands-on experience of digital, and someone that can set the email marketing strategy. The role will have core objectives of:

  • Rolling out a new strategy for all email marketing across three global regions (APAC, Europe and The Americas)
  • Improving the effectiveness of the global PPC agency
  • Asses the performance of company websites in order to determine how data is being captured
  • Core KPI's - traffic, registrations, logins, paywall hits, demo requests
  • Help to develop an improved customer journey and user experience through testing and analytics

The company is currently in the process of migrating to Sitecore and so are looking for a confident marketer to assist with this process. Currently the business has 6 websites that are used for product promotion, this will grow to 9 over the next few months. With that in mind someone with HTML, XTML and XML experience would be great as you will need to build and create new pages.

Responsibilities for the position of Associate Director - Digital Marketing Manager include:

  • Support the regional marketing teams with email, PPC and website requests
  • Become a Sitecore expert! If successful you're going to be the person who is tasked with getting the most of out the platform
  • Run analytics on all email marketing campaigns, suggesting changes where appropriate
  • Manage the global PPC agency, advise on changes that need to be made across the 12 accounts
  • Work alongside the content team to define and implement the strategy that will improve customer engagement
  • Continually optimise the website for search to improve rankings, traffic and conversion
  • Building stakeholder relationships in the team and across regional offices.

To be considered for the role of Digital Marketing Manager you must have:

  • 4-8years' experience in a B2B digital marketing role
  • Strong experience of HTML, XHTML & XML
  • Experience working for a B2B business
  • Hand on email marketing - automation experience is required (Sitecore, Marketo or Dotmailer)
  • Developed websites to improve conversion rate
  • Google Analytics
  • A strong personality and ability to manage stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
