Associate Director - Market Research - Birmingham
Salary: From £40,000pa depending on experience plus company pension contribution and a great performance-related bonus scheme.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Director to support the growth of the business. Taking the lead on current and new projects, you will ensure client expectations are surpassed through the high quality research and advice you provide.
As an Associate Director you will drive business development, long-term growth and improved profitability, consistent with Research by Design's strategy. You will develop and manage relationships with existing and potential clients. You will contribute to the development of the organisation's strategy and budget plan working with other team members to create effective client development strategies.
You will have responsibility for the overall management of research projects, from the development of the research proposal through to implementation and communication of results and recommendations.
Desirable skills and experience
Sound commercial experience in market research is important, ideally gained from spending time within a small or medium sized agency. The post offers the unique opportunity to be involved with innovative digital research techniques in addition to the more traditional methods. The successful candidate is expected to have experience of line management and to be able to coach and develop their research team.
This role would suit an ambitious, inquisitive and outgoing team player who enjoys a varied programme of work and wants to be involved in the full research process. It is therefore essential that candidates have a good practical understanding of all research methodologies and appreciation of how research and marketing information is used.
