One of the world's leading law firms requires an Associate Proposals Manager to join their Finance & Capital Markets team in a newly created role designed to address the increasing demands for more complex pitch responses and tender requests.
The Associate Proposals Manager will be responsible for supporting the development of pitch responses for must win pitch opportunities across the firm's London based Finance and Capital Markets practice. This role sits within the transactional part of the practice and requires an individual with a natural flare for proposal writing and an understanding of the sophistication required by the firm's clients and business. You will work closely with partners and BD management to create and maintain momentum in winning new business and will be expected to bring innovation and new ideas to proposals. The main aim of the role will be to develop and implement an efficiency model for pitching across the practice, developing and implementing a SLA for pitching, and to support the development and delivery of best in class proposals and tender responses. Working with the wider team the role holder will create and maintain general marketing materials including capability statements and practice brochures, create boiler plate text and case studies, maintain rigor around deadlines for Directories and Awards submissions and conduct win/loss debriefs for proposals and tenders. The successful candidate will also report monthly on London F&CM proposal activity, developing appropriate metrics, tracking trends and win/loss debrief messages in order to continually develop the firm's approach to winning business.
In order to perform this role successfully, the ideal candidate will have passion for pitching and winning work and previous experience working on competitive proposals and pitches within a law, professional services or large corporate firm. An exceptional team player, highly motivated and committed to high performance, the Associate Proposals Manager should hold a degree, or equivalent and possess a track record of being proactive and delivering high quality work. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to draft copy are a must.
