The Company: One of the oldest membership bodies in the UK, this business is one of the largest health-care bodies out there. Publishers of industry leading medicinal information, they are the go-to thought leader/ fact provider in their industry. In addition to their large publications arm they work as a membership body, providing training and networking opportunities to over 11,000 members. With some very ambitious growth plans set out for the remainder of the year and 2021, the company are looking for high calibre B2B marketing executive to join the team in order to push out eye catching campaigns. The role sits within the commercial arm of this membership body and will form part of a four - person team.

The role of Marketing Executive:

This brand-new role will be part of an established marketing function and focus on a key revenue generating brand within the organisations portfolio. Reporting to Head of Marketing this role will be responsible for creating well thought out multi- channel marketing campaigns that will nurture potential prospects through the funnel.

Examples of the type of objectives that will be associated to this role will include: Quantity of leads created, quality of leads created, website and social media traffic numbers, percentage of leads that are converted from MQLs to SQLS.

The successful candidate will have excellent English written communication with either a degree in Journalism/English/Business or related subject. The Marketing Executive sits in the marketing department and will therefore be responsible for building out lead generation campaigns that will support the company's revenue based objectives.

If you have experienced your first organisation in a B2B lead generation marketing role , where you built out multi-channel campaigns, then this is the role for you.

Tools used: Salesforce, Pardot and Google Analytics.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Executive include:

  • Creating world-class, actionable content for multiple marketing channels to attract prospects and secure clients
  • Nurture relationships with prospects, customers and users with targeted personalised automated marketing campaigns
  • Successfully manage a campaign budget
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure they are equipped to deal with the leads that you will bring in
  • Working with the marketing team to create marketing content for different stages of the marketing funnel - awareness, consideration, decision making, customer, advocate
  • Writing short-form and long-form content pieces
  • Own and manage the website platform and social media channels
  • Use marketing automation tool Pardot to create drip campaigns
  • Always be writing with SEO at front of mind
  • Measure, analyse and report on marketing activity effectiveness
  • Using analytics tools to measure, track and improve - Google Analytics, Google Data Studio

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field
  • Experience in a B2B commercial lead generation marketing role
  • 2-3 years' experience working for a B2B organisation
  • Written long format and short format content
  • Worked with email marketing tools Pardot, Hubspot or Marketo
  • Experience creating and curating engaging content pieces
  • Experience working of creating multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Worked with Social Media platforms and Website platforms to manage and upload content

The Package for Marketing Executive :

  • Salary: £26,000-£30,000
  • Solid training opportunities

Location: The position of Marketing Executive will be based in London. The company are currently working remotely until Jan 21' at the earliest.
