This leading legal firm are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Business Development professional to provide support for the implementation of marketing and business development activities in the capital markets and finance practice groups in London. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Senior Business Development Executive to support the marketing and business development efforts for the Capital Markets and Finance Groups in London which will involve collaborating with colleagues across different offices, particularly in New York and Europe and occasionally with The Middle East and Asia. The role offers a balance of project ownership/autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in team initiatives in a dynamic and international environment, with significant partner liaison.

Pitching is a significant part of this role. The candidate must have some pitch experience, have strong writing skills and be able to cope with multiple deadlines and ad hoc queries.
This is a good role for a Marketing Coordinator looking for their next step up to BD Executive level with room to develop and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Proposals and pitching
* Legal directories and league tables
* Client relationship management
* Event management
* General business development support

You must have work experience in professional services or legal marketing environment, and have it would be beneficial to have experience of capital markets and finance products gained within either a legal or professional services firm You must be familiar with planning, organising and preparing pitches, legal directories and other marketing materials with a strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, InterAction, and familiarity in working with any desktop publishing software and experience of design would be an advantage.

You'll have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities and personalities and to work with little supervision and under the pressure of deadlines. You'll be positive and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of teamwork and possess a flexible "can-do" attitude.
