This is a highly attractive Business Development role at an international law firm. You may be a highly experienced assistant wanting to make the step-up to an executive role or already at executive level and wanting a different experience with an ambitious growing firm.
The BD Executive will work in the BD team and all areas of the Corporate practice group, and will be tasked with providing BD support to help them to grow their market reputation and revenues. Your main responsibilities will include drafting a number of marketing and credentials documents and competitive pitches concurrently, using persuasive and accurate content with tailored messages, often to tight deadlines; creating, distributing and updating brochures, newsletters, social media items and other marketing collateral; managing the Legal 500 and Chambers submission process for selected finance and real estate submissions, producing high quality submissions; working with the events manager to produce and deliver outstanding client events; helping partners on cementing and further developing profitable revenue growth on their key client relationships; liaising with the communications and PR team and supporting the media plan for the different practice areas; championing best practice of InterAction, the firm's CRM system, within the groups; and working on targeted client research, distilling research reports so they focus on key areas of relevance and suggesting resulting BD opportunities to fee earners.
You will be of graduate calibre or equivalent with previous BD experience in a professional services environment. A strong ability in producing high quality pitch and marketing materials would be preferable, whilst knowledge of one or more of the practice group would be beneficial but by no means a pre-requisite. The BD Executive will be confident, organised and pragmatic, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess both strong communication skills and a good eye for detail.
