This role represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented business development professional to join a leading international law firm in a BD Executive role focused primarily on supporting the BD efforts of the firm's M&A product group within the global Corporate practice group.
The role holder will be a primary contact for the day-to-day business development support for Corporate partners based in London. The role will require a "hands-on" approach to marketing and BD with the BD Executive playing a lead role in executing BD initiatives and projects and working with partners in the Corporate practice to drive initiatives forward. You will assist partners, associates and BD colleagues in the management of strategic client relationships, participate in client listening sessions with key clients and assimilate the feedback into reports for partners. You will also take a lead role in preparing proposals, pitch presentations and credentials statements for London-based proposals and capture proposal outcomes and prompt fee earners to act upon feedback. On the marketing side you will be involved in campaign management, maintain updated collateral and credentials and market and client research to support business planning activities.
The firm is looking for a commercial and ambitious individual with a real enthusiasm for developing an understanding of the global Corporate practice and proven business development experience, gained in a professional services environment. The BD Executive will be a well-educated team player, with strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. In addition, you must be able to remain professional, proactive, creative, good humoured and enthusiastic whilst working under pressure.
