This is an exciting, regional Business Development Executive role working for an award-winning, commercial law firm. The role will be based in Bristol and will involve providing day-to-day, hands-on marketing and BD support for the Financial Services Sector.
Working closely with the Financial Services Business Development Manager and Business Development Executive, lawyers and the wider BD team, you will co-ordinate and support BD initiatives and client relationships. The Business Development Executive will assist with sector business development plans, helping keep client and target information up to date and providing research on new targets, and will work with BDMs and the Bids team on proposals and presentations to support new sales opportunities. You will assist with the development of client plans, implementing actions from client team meetings, and will create marketing materials for the sector and relevant services with standard and up-to-date content. On the marketing side, the successful candidate will work as part of the team on the development of marketing campaigns to support the growth of the financial services sector nationally. You will use social media and other digital channels to support communications to clients and targets and will help to create client newsletters and other mailings and produce weekly internal newsletter to communicate sector news, initiatives and successes. Keeping the intranet and web pages up-to-date for the financial services sector will represent an important aspect of the role. You will also work on an active calendar of events across the firm's UK locations including sector conferences and training events, hosted events, corporate hospitality and internal events.
You must be a graduate or equivalent, ideally with experience in a professional services environment to include experience of designing marketing materials. Enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, persistent and robust, you must possess good organisational skills and excellent written, creative and interpersonal skills, gaining respect and credibility quickly. The Business Development Executive will also possess the ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and will enjoy working under pressure and supporting on major projects to completion.
