An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious BD professional to join a leading U.S. law firm in their Paris office. The Business Development Executive will provide support for the implementation of marketing and business development activities across the International Arbitration practice.
The Business Development Executive will work collaboratively with the Global Business Director for International Arbitration as well as other colleagues across different offices. The role offers a balance of project ownership and autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in team initiatives in a dynamic and international environment, with significant partner liaison. This broad role will encompass business planning, client development and targeting, drafting, compiling and producing pitch documents, proposals and client presentations, co-ordinating legal directory submissions, assisting with the management of a full range of practice events and providing support for firm wide BD, marketing and communications initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a well-educated native English speaker with a strong proficiency in French and previous marketing and BD experience gained in a professional services organisation. A proactive team player with excellent organisational, communication, writing and I.T. skills allied with strong attention to detail, you will possess the ability to work with little supervision and under the pressure of deadlines whilst juggling multiple projects, priorities and personalities.
