An excellent opening has arisen for an exceptional business development professional to join a leading international law firm, renowned in the sector for being very different and supported by an outstanding brand.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and high achieving team and get involved in a range of different international BD activities whilst getting good exposure to partners and other fee-earners. The Business Development Executive will work within the International Relations Team and will work directly with BD Managers and lawyers from Country Teams in refining and developing the firm's proposition and products for clients in relation to international work. You will assist in tracking and analysing market trends, including local legal market activity and monitoring daily press and website news to keep fee earners informed; as well as researching and preparing business development trips for partners. You will ensure that deal and contact information is kept up to date and that the relevant information is input into the data collection systems. You will also offer assistance with organising international marketing events; own and manage internal communications as relevant to firm-wide messages, announcements and campaigns; and manage the International Relations intranet pages as well as other internal platforms and assist in their development.
With previous marketing or business development experience, most recently at a coordinator or executive level in legal services, you must be degree educated or equivalent and have a proven ability to communicate effectively at a senior level. The Business Development Executive role would suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a robust, professional personality, good attention to detail and an interest in international matters.
