A leading law firm is looking for a very high-calibre executive to join their prominent business development team to provide support the implementation of the annual business development and marketing plans of the Life Sciences Sector across Europe.
Life Sciences has been identified as a key growth area for the firm and the team is seeking to meet ambitious targets supported by significant investment. It is an exciting time to join this team, be embedded amongst a strong community of committed lawyers and non-lawyers and to be part of its success. The Business Development Executive will contribute to the successful implementation of business development and marketing plans. There will be strong involvement in the bids process, preparing credential statements and case studies and supporting in the preparation of bids and the successful candidate will be expected to keep an eye on competitor initiatives, reporting back to BD team and sector leads on market intelligence, looking outside the firm to contribute to ideas and initiatives for developing for the sector and monitoring Trade Association and intermediaries' pipeline with a view to spotting and negotiating opportunities. On the broader marketing side, management of the directory submissions will a key immediate responsibility along with thought leadership, events and PR and communications.
In order to be considered for this challenging role, you will need to have a good academic background allied to proven marketing and business development experience in a professional services firm. The Business Development Executive will also be a good team player and motivated self-starter who is determined to meet a challenge.
