This is a highly attractive Business Development Executive role at an ambitious and growing international law firm.
The BD Executive will provide support to the BD Manager for Ship Finance and the BD Manager for Marine and International Trade. You will be tasked with assisting these practice groups in growing their market reputation and revenues. Your main responsibilities will include drafting a number of competitive pitches and marketing documents concurrently, using persuasive and accurate content with tailored messages, often to tight deadlines; creating, distributing and updating brochures, newsletters, social media items and other marketing collateral; managing the Legal 500 and Chambers submission process to produce high quality submissions; working with the events manager to deliver outstanding client events in London and overseas; working with the library on targeted client research, distilling research reports so they focus on key areas of relevance and suggesting resulting BD opportunities to fee earners; championing best practice of the firm's CRM system within the groups; and liaising with the Communications and PR team to support the media plan for each team within MIT and Ship Finance.
You will be of graduate calibre or equivalent with previous BD experience in a professional services environment. A strong ability in producing high quality pitch and marketing materials would be preferable, whilst knowledge of one or more of the practice groups would be beneficial but is by no means a pre-requisite. The BD Executive will also be confident, organised and pragmatic, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess both strong communication skills and a good eye for detail.
