A leading national accountancy firm is looking for an outstanding individual to join their small team as Business Development Manager on a fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role holder will be responsible for driving the business development activities of the firm.
With a heavy emphasis on bids and proposals, you will be a main point of contact internally and will work on the process from initial brief to post-bid debrief. It will be a real opportunity to get close to the partnership as your role will have a strong advisory aspect to it. Other areas of involvement will include targeting, client relationship management and broader marketing and communications.
You will need to be bright academically, with outstanding internal consultancy skills. The firm requires a natural, confident people person and communicator with the enthusiasm and drive to push BD to forefront of their thinking. Your experience will need to have been gained in another professional services firm and you will need to show proven exposure to managing the bids process from start to finish.
