An excellent 12 month fixed term contract, regional role has arisen in a leading national law firm. The Business Development Manager will work as part of the Client & Market Development team and will lead and develop business development activities across the Banking & Financial Services group.
Based in Nottingham and Birmingham, the role holder will work strategically and tactically to plan, deliver and lead incisive and value-added business development support ensuring key objectives in the Banking & Financial Services business plans are achieved. The Business Development Manager will work with partners to agree joined-up business plans, and subsequently ensure the successful execution of all plans and the measurement of results. They will be tasked with identifying and developing target markets, co-ordinating activities to develop the profile of the group and presenting the firm's expertise in a consistent and joined up way. This is a collaborative role which requires the successful applicant to build strong, proactive relationships with Banking & Financial Services fee earners across all offices and positive working relationships with the wider CMD team who will be integral to the success of this role.
The Business Development Manager will be confident, proactive and solutions focused, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess strong project management and communication skills, with an ability to liaise, both internally and externally, at all levels. This role would suit a business development professional with a strong understanding of targeting, managing pipelines, credentials and pitches and implementing BD plans.
