This legal big-hitter is looking for a commercial and ambitious individual with proven business development experience looking for a new opportunity to take the next step in their career.
An integral member of the Financial Institutions Group, the Business Development Manager will provide dedicated business development support for the banking sector. The firm's marketing, business development and communication teams contribute to the setting and achievement of the firm's business objectives, which include improving client relationships, increasing the visibility of the firm globally and supporting partners and associates in their pursuit of becoming their clients' trusted advisers. Working in close collaboration with the FIG team, practice groups, local offices and CRM colleagues, the role holder will enjoy a broad role and will be instrumental in monitoring market trends and opportunities, managing the firm's profile in the sector and building sector-specific campaigns and client targeting propositions.
A bright graduate or equivalent, you will have proven business development experience within a professional services organisation or specifically within the legal services sector, to include previous business analysis and desk research experience. Candidates should also have strong knowledge of the banking sector or a willingness and ability to develop an understanding of the sector and keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments. Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, the Business Development Manager will be a creative thinker with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and excellent communication skills.
