A leading law firm in the city of London is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Business Development Manager to join their global Business Development team based in London.
The role holder will need to provide high quality and effective business development support for lawyers in the corporate transactions team and corporate focused industries, The firm are looking for an accomplished, credible and passionate Business Development Manager to harness the power of the firm's network and consolidate client offering across the corporate transactions practice, specifically to the public and private M&A and equity capital markets groups. Working alongside the firm's Marketing and Business Development function, the Business Development Manager will be expected to deliver targeted, appropriate, tailored and sophisticated business development activity in pursuit of the corporate practice's growth objectives. The role holder will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities across the entire BD and marketing mix encompassing CRM responsibilities, preparation of pitch proposals, marketing collateral and event management and will also contribute to and lead on significant ad-hoc projects including client targeting and practice growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have significant front line business development experience within a law firm or professional services environment. You should hold a good university degree or equivalent and possess a demonstrable ability to develop strong working relationships with the partners, associates, expertise lawyers and all members of a BD team. The Business Development Manager should also enjoy Business Development Manager should also enjoy working under pressure to juggle a busy and varied workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
