A fantastic opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager to join the Client Solutions team off a major international law firm to provide support in the development of the firm's transactional practice.
The Client Solutions team works globally to market the firm's major service areas, Transactional, Risk and Regulatory, to key clients. It does this through the identification of client issues and emerging market trends in order to develop innovative and creative marketing outputs, which target at the firm's most important clients. Reporting into the Senior BD Manager for Global Transactions, the successful candidate will need to understand the transactional markets across a number of different areas in order to develop an engaging programme of activities to market the firm's transactional proposition. The Business Development Manager will be expected to map the transactional landscape well and understand how that translates into issues for the firm's clients and will offer support on turning issues into tangible marketing and BD outputs which move the dial with the firm's clients. The role holder will also work closely with colleagues on strategically important pitches and be responsible for at least one client account, providing CRM support as necessary.
This role is both strategic and hands-on and the ideal candidate will be bright and commercial with a strong knowledge of transactional markets and outstanding marketing and BD credentials developed whilst working in a legal or professional services firm. Dynamic and creative, with the ability to challenge, drive and persuade and influence a range of people, including partners, the Business Development Manager must possess the capability to bring together a multi-discipline team to deliver key projects and client outputs.
