A leading global legal firm requires a Business Development Manager to join its specialist BD team. The successful applicant will support Technology & Corporate Insurance and will have the chance to work with some of the leaders in their respective areas.
The scope of the role is very appealing as it will encompass all aspects of business development and marketing and assumes a high degree of involvement with the partners and associates. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager you will lead business development and marketing activities in a way which promotes both the profile of this segment of the business, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth. This will be achieved through the development of clear strategies and business plans, and management of an aligned range of marketing campaigns, communications and key account activity. You will manage resources within the BD team in order to ensure plans are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and to the highest quality. Success will be dependent on your ability to develop strong and influential relationships with partners, lawyers and groups in the UK and internationally to cause their active engagement with and support for the sector's business development programmes.
This role would suit a very bright graduate or equivalent with proven BD and marketing experience at management level in a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal sector. You will also possess strong organisational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales and outstanding interpersonal skills including confidence, positivity, diplomacy and the ability to gain credibility quickly.
