Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this leading legal firm is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join its BD team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

A key part of the role is co-ordinating the firm's client relationship programme which is well established and highly valued by partners and clients alike. The role holder will co-ordinate the firm's client relationship programme, which aims to deliver exceptional client service and which is a key part of the firm's initiative to get more work from existing clients. You will manage the client review meeting process including setting up meetings with clients, preparing research and client review documents for BD Director and following up after meetings to ensure actions are implemented. The BD & Marketing Manager will manage the client team audit process setting up meetings for the consultants who carries out internal interviews with the client team, preparing background information, preparing summary dashboard, arranging meetings with the client partner and reporting to the Client Review Panel. You will also produce desktop review documents for clients and assist with full market review documents for existing clients and update client information on the CRM database after receiving any useful information. In addition, the successful candidate work with specialist groups to implement marketing plans and provide assistance to the BD & Projects Manager with special firmwide projects as and when required.

You will have previous relevant experience in a Business Development or Client Development role, preferably within a large law firm or professional services firm. You will be computer proficient with strong CRM systems knowledge, ideally InterAction, have strong written and oral communication, research and analysis, organisational skills and a high attention to detail. Enthusiastic and adaptable, you will be calm under pressure, proactive and meet deadlines whilst using your own initiative.
