Under the leadership of the BD and Marketing Director, this Top 100 legal practice is looking for a Bids Executive to join its driven and dynamic marketing department. The principal aim of this role is to deliver high quality bid documentation and presentations.
Reporting to the Bid Manager, the Bids Executive will work will work closely with the firm's partners and within a very busy bid team based in Wimbledon. You will be responsible for keeping CRM systems and bid management tools and reports up-to-date, monitoring portals and bid alert emails, liaising with other support functions within the firm to ensure standard documentation and policies are up-to-date and fit for purpose and preparing CVs and team sheets. Ensuring bids best practice is followed throughout the process, you will coordinate the bid process for the lead partner and liaising with their PA. This will involve managing and communicating deadlines, setting up any required meetings including kick offs and pricing discussions, assisting with editing, formatting and production of bid documentation, setting up presentation rehearsals and developing presentation support material. The preparation of analysis and reports on the firm's bid performance will be a key part of the role.
Candidates for the role of Bids Executive should have a sound understanding of the complexities of bid management in a professional services environment and some relevant bids experience, either as part of a bids team, or from a procurement perspective. The ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the firm and to work calmly under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines and managing the expectations of demanding internal clients will be essential. You must also be willing to learn more about the health, social care and housing sectors and the services the firm provides.
