One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for an established and motivated bid specialist to challenge thinking, advise and draw on their commercial outlook to contribute to win strategies. This is an excellent South-East based regional opportunity with the role holder being based in either Cambridge, Gatwick, Reading, St Albans or Uxbridge.
You will enjoy a varied and exciting role as no two days and no two pursuits are the same and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with and coach senior partners and to work with a diverse range of client teams to provide guidance, advice and support. A focus of the role is to ensure that the firm is bidding for the right opportunities and that the firm's proposals are best in class. This will include ensuring proposals are persuasive and successfully differentiate the firm from the competition. The Bids, Pursuits & Proposals Manager will need to build relationships with senior management, the business and account teams on individual proposals. A key part of the role will be advising teams, editing and reviewing proposal documents, working on presentation preparation and identifying creative ways to communicate messages to clients so that the firm can continually improve and win more work.
The ideal candidate will be confident in strategically leading and advising bid teams and will have a strong track record of supporting the full bid cycle and of working closely with bid drivers, helping and supporting on the successful completion of proposals and meeting deadlines, in a professional services environment or other similar blue chip organisation. In addition, the Bids, Pursuits & Proposals Manager will possess excellent influencing, strong communication and facilitation skills, a proactive 'can-do approach' and sound commercial understanding.
