Job Title: Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Business Manager, 52Fridays

Basic Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 DOE + Competitive Commission

Start Date: ASAP

The Company:

52Fridays is a newly formed digital marketing agency and a proud part of the long established Friday Media Group. We work in partnership with SMEs to produce performance-led marketing campaigns, driving high quality visitors and transactions through our clients websites. The Position:

We are looking for a skilled and moderately experienced sales/business development professional to join our small, growing team. Your responsibility will be to grow 52Fridays revenue stream, qualifying leads from our existing network and working with our delivery managers to pitch, price and close new accounts. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our vision and values. This is a unique opportunity to get on board early and help grow a business that will truly stand out in the market.

The Responsibilities:

  • To work to set KPIs, in accordance with company budget.

  • To produce, present and deliver a well coordinated sales strategy each quarter, in alignment with our strategic goals.

  • To champion our values in every interaction, upholding our code of ethics.

  • To work closely with the delivery managers (SEO & PPC) to ensure your knowledge of our product is as in-depth as possible.

  • To work closely with our delivery and onboarding teams to ensure new partners transition smoothly from point of sale.

  • Acquisition of new business clients from a consultative approach to ensure our customers are on the relevant package level to match their expectations.

  • Ensuring all activity is logged in the companies CRM.

  • Be punctual; accountable; professional; honest and approachable.

The Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of demonstrable experience in telesales; field sales or business development.

  • A working knowledge of digital marketing, specifically paid media and search engine optimisation.

  • A good knowledge of the advertising/marketing landscape.

  • Exemplary written and spoken communication skills.

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business field.

  • Preferably a background selling similar products, ideally in an agency environment.
