Business Insights Manager

Healthcare/Pharma/OTC | M4 Corridor

Upto £60,000 + car allowance, 20% bonus, benefits


The company:

Working within the UK Commercial team for an internationally dominant Consumer Goods giant, you will have full accountability to champion the use of data within the business. You will use advanced analytics to identify sales drivers, and pricing and distribution trends. You will be involved in the geographical expansion of the brands through data and telling the brand story through data as well as detailing what the cross-category functions will look like.

The role:

  • Contribute to the establishment of consistent, best-in-class Analytics, CRM and Data & Information Management capability,
  • Support the go-forward data strategy which will enable Advance Analytics & Machine Learning capabilities.
  • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders to scope and define their analytics needs and create efficient analytical solutions
  • Develop Analytics and CRM framework for the customer journey of each business area
  • Develop customer–centric contact strategy based on existing data for better customer engagement and deepening customer relationship
  • Understand how different data sets play a role in designing the appropriate solutions
  • Assist the rollout of segment-based CRM strategy in conjunction with the business proposition

Requirements you need to meet:

  • Experience working in relevant environments, such as Analytics / CRM / Management Information (MI) reporting in a global organisation
  • A data geek with the ability to present to stakeholders and deliver a compelling story from the numbers
  • Experience of mapping consumer journey based on ‘owned’ touchpoints
  • Experience of using relevant software packages e.g. SAS, R, SQL, Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of enterprise CRM solutions such as Epilson, SFDC, Adobe
  • Experience of Nielsen/Kantar/IRi/dunnhumby data
  • Data and object model analysis
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across regions and cultures to establish a network
