A fantastic regional law firm is looking for a Client Development Manager to join the firm's team head office team in Bristol. The role holder will work with the Head of Client Development to help drive and manage the implementation of the BD strategy, and in particular that of the Client Programme.
The role of the Client Development Manager is to support the Client Relationship Partner and wider client team, advising on all aspects of the firm's Client Programme. The firm wants to be known for excellence in client relationship management, developing institutional relationships and growing revenue through existing and new relationships and the role holder will be expected to help shift client teams from an internal focus, to one that puts the firm's clients at the centre of all relationship investment activities. The successful candidate will have responsibility for a number of the firm's key and strategic clients and will be charged with developing deeper and stronger relationships. The Client Development Manager will also have the opportunity to enhance the overall Client Programme through management of ad-hoc projects across the firm.
An ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with a proven track record in client relationship management or business development in a professional services environment. The Client Development Manager will also be enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, persistent and robust and must be able to gain access to senior decision makers. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to gain respect and credibility quickly will be essential to success and applicants should enjoy working under pressure, to drive through major projects to completion.
