A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced events specialist to join a Top 50 UK law firm based in either their London, Exeter, Nottingham, Birmingham or Manchester offices. The role holder will work as part of a fantastic Client and Marketing department as a Client Experience Lead.
The role holder will be tasked with creating an exceptional client experience, by leading and managing the events and hospitality teams, ensuring the firm's clients consistently receive a 5 star hospitality service when visiting all the firm's offices or attending events hosted by the firm. The Client Experience Lead will have overall control of the entire hospitality spend and budget and will cover all the firm's offices nationwide. Reporting to the Client & Marketing Director, you will have team management responsibility for the FOH Manager and events team members. You will be expected to create an exceptional client experience, portraying a positive image of the firm at all times, and ensuring that the firm's brand and standards are applied. Setting the strategic objectives and providing direction for all client suites and events, the successful candidate will be accountable for all internal and external events, ensuring they are successfully organised and delivered and reflect the desired environment in terms of quality and experience. Keeping up to date with developments in the events industry, you must ensure continuous improvement in suppliers and consumables and customer and client feedback must be pro-actively sought in order to improve service. You will also be responsible for improving the quality and efficiency of national internal processes, ensuring all relevant legislation, policies and procedures are adhered to and providing a high quality advisory service to teams and individuals running their own events.
This role would suit a bright graduate or equivalent with a proven track record of managing detailed events and seminars, ideally gained in the legal or professional services sector, to include experience of managing senior stakeholders. The Client Experience Lead will possess excellent project management and communication skills and a passion for detail. Proactive, forward thinking, self-motivated and level-headed it is essential you display a calm approach to handling difficult situations and are able to interact and network with people of all levels within the firm.
