The Client Manager Role:
The Client Manager role provides support to the Account Director and Client Director in ensuring that strategic objectives are met and to be fully aware of the clients’ operational objectives. Utilising in depth digital product knowledge to drive delivery of appropriate eCommerce solutions, and with significant CRM experience, the Client Manager works with internal and external teams to establish, improve and maintain relationships and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Main Duties Include:
+ Work closely with the client to deliver a streamlined, consistent customer journey
+ Ensure consistency in user experience from a development brand and marketing/communications perspective for each platform
+ Work closely with product stakeholders including clients, end users, vendors, sales staff, management and marketing staff to plan, launch and implement products and projects on time, on budget and to requirements and specifications
+ Translate customer/client needs into new product features and services. Works closely with the product management staff and internal staff to implement products as well as marketing and business development to execute vision and strategies
+ Work closely with internal business functions and other relevant departments on the provision of strong customer service
+ Initiate and manage client expectations effectively, by fully understanding the clients’ strategic & operational objectives, either by working at client premises, through meetings and calls. To set up and maintain all client monthly face to face meetings
+ Partner and forge strong relationships with the key stakeholder departments to identify and maximise value-added digital product opportunities while ensuring alignment across all groups
+ Facilitate reviews and approvals with key stakeholders and partners
+ Analyse, measure and position product offerings
+ Monitor global market place trends and competitive landscape
+ Line management responsibility for Client Executive where required
+ Supporting team members in their personal development, 1:1s and career planning
Client Manager Required Skills:
+ Client service and pro-active Client relationship management experience
+ Stakeholder management and relationship building
+ Decision making and deadline driven
+ Ability to read and understand management reporting tools with experience in analytics
+ Influencing and persuasion skills
+ Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
+ Planning and organisation skills
+ High standard of communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence at multiple levels within an organisation
+ Management of key eCommerce and customer experience projects, including affiliate marketing, conversion funnel and tags
+ Digital product knowledge and fit into eCommerce solutions/CRM
+ Ability to identify and implement internal service improvements
+ Experience of working in a B2B environment or service provider desirable
