As Communication Consultant, you’ll create and measure communications to drive change management and community health internally. You’ll work with storytellers within the community to raise the profile of Nationwide externally as a great place for Digital talent. You will write emails, film, produce video and write speeches for various internal and external stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
We’ll need you to have relevant experience in an internal comms role, with an in-house, agency or journalism background and a sound knowledge of communication best practice. You’ll have a proven track record writing for a range of audiences and media/channels with excellent editorial and presentation skills. You’ll have experience with overseeing video production and managing digital communications channels (intranet, chat/collaboration tools, etc.) You’ll have the ability to build an understanding of our Digital community, the financial services sector, audience needs and with your analytical approach to problem solving, will help drive desired business outcomes.
More broadly, you’ll possess strong interpersonal skills and the credibility to advise senior managers and directors and influence, building constructive, collaborative working relationships.
What you'll be doing
• Produce, manage and deliver communications plans to engage and update colleagues and stakeholders within Nationwide Digital and externally
• Create feedback loops and analyse qualitative / quantitive data to measure success and impact and recommend changes
• Create measurement reporting for communications and engagement efforts
• Coordinate internal cultural and monthly activities to drive an increase in employee engagement
• Track and report on communications production budget
• Work with the broader Communications teams (Internal Comms, Strategic Planning and External Relations, Marketing Engagement) to deliver compelling, consistent communications for/by Digital within a unified Nationwide narrative
