Salary £21,239 per annum
This is a newly created role which will deliver the communications and networking activity for the Hartlepool Action Lab. The Action Lab brings local people and organisations together to develop solutions to poverty in Hartlepool. Their work includes projects focused on housing, volunteering and work, community action, food poverty, fuel poverty and benefits.
Their Social Action Plan for the coming 3 years was developed through dialogue with stakeholders and aims to strengthen, resource, sustain and build social action to solve poverty in the town. This post is a key element of delivering a strong foundation on which existing projects and new activity to engage, motivate and draw people into action will be built.
This fixed term post (until 31/03/22) offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside others – local residents, voluntary organisations, the public sector and businesses – in supporting and developing the skills of those delivering action to make a genuine impact on poverty.
You will be responsible for actively connecting those involved in projects and activities within Hartlepool Action Lab with each other, creating networking opportunities, utilising social media to connect people and organisations, maintaining the website and delivering a programme of communication activity.
• If you have experience of working with and in diverse groups, communities and neighbourhoods and producing on-line content, along with a passion for supporting collaborative initiatives then we would love to hear from you.
