This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a niche international law firm in a communications role based in their Birmingham office. You will assist in drafting high quality internal and external communications that help support and improve the delivery of the firm's communications agenda.
Working within the Marketing Communications team and reporting to the Communications Advisor, the Communications Assistant will support the writing and editing of content for PR initiatives and across a range of internal and external platforms, which includes the intranet, website and social media. The role also has a focus on providing regular reports and involvement in marketing communication campaigns, social media, projects such as award submissions, as well as developing and maintaining the house style writing guide and ensuring that the application of its guidelines are consistent across internal and external communications.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual, with previous experience working within a professional services firm. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work efficiently when faced with tight deadlines. Flexible and adaptable, you will be an optimistic self-starter with strong attention to detail.
