They are recruiting for a Communications Executive to join their Media and Communications team. If you're able to understand the communications landscape, keep on top of hot topics and translate this into content across social media channels and using internal systems, then they want to hear from you.

The Role:
The Communications Executive is essential to help communicate key messaging to a range of stakeholders including members, the public and staff. Supporting the internal communications functions of the business by producing content for the company intranet, both written and filmed and disseminating in the most appropriate manner to increase staff engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce articles for staff intranet and member news section of the company website as directed by Lead Media and Communications Manager
- Liaise with HR and Directors to produce text for business announcements
- Assist with the design, creation and management of content for internal and external communications channels
- Support to quarterly meetings of employee forum
- Support to breakfast briefings including creation of content and liaising with Lead Media and Communications Manager on topics
- Strategise the Institution's communications involvement for numerous awareness events throughout the year
- Create video content for social media and the website
- Work closely with Membership Marketing teams to help communicate effective campaign strategy including creation of marketing materials and assets
- Create content for their social media channels

What they are looking for:
Their ideal candidate will:
- Have strong written and verbal communications skills
- Work effectively with stakeholders at all levels as well as being a strong team player
- Have experience of Photoshop or similar packages
- Understand campaign strategy
- Demonstrable film and film editing skills
- Have the ability to deal with competing demands and deadlines
- Have some experience of event organisation
