About the role:

As a part of this transformation they are looking for a Vendor Communication Specialist. This is a new and unique opportunity within the business which sits within the Vendor Readiness team and is a part of the Sourcing Operations function. Vendor Communications works with colleagues in Offer and Supply Chain, Transformation and the Group Planning and Execution teams to plan and deliver effective communications to vendors supplying Goods for Resale.


As the Vendor Communications Specialist your role will be to support the Communications Lead in delivering all vendor communication activities. You will support internal stakeholders from across the Group to access vendor communications and get the best from their external digital agency.

You will work with internal stakeholders to agree process and gather feedback and requirements to enable the business to create and distribute effective communications to their global vendor base.

Our client's ambition is to facilitate high levels of vendor performance, good trading relationships and a reduced cost of supply. You will achieve this within an existing governance framework via their digital platform and other channels.

About you:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate with, and manage relationships with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders and will have an interest in business to business relationships (B2B). You must be confident in dealing with stakeholders at different levels across different teams / markets and must be able to spot difficulties and challenge appropriately

This role would suit a candidate with attention to detail and skills in written communication, formatting and presentation with experience in either a customer or vendor facing role.

There is considerable scope for growth in this role for the right candidate. You will have responsibility for coordinating international vendor communications through the company's Vendor Manual. You will have the opportunity to manage and develop their digital platform and communications capability, including a communications library
