Community Marketing Manager

My client provides software solutions to assist organisations transform into digital businesses. Working with global high profile brands, they have helped them evolve utilising process automation platforms to connect people, applications, devices and information.
They are now recruiting for a Community Marketing Manager where you will be responsible for scalable marketing programmes to grow the user community, identifying users and drive product adoption. You will work with a vibrant community of business process specialists, with your goal being driving user satisfaction taking them on a journey from freemium product utilisation to the adoption of paid-for additive services.

The Role
You will be overall responsible for scalable marketing programmes, that grow the user
community, upsell software users to paid services, nurture users at target accounts and drive adoption of solutions as the enterprise platform for digital business agility.
In this customer community engagement role, you will work closely with global and local marketing and product development teams to craft lifecycle programs that educate and engage the community across multiple marketing channels.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

  • Own creation and execution of integrated lifecycle marketing initiatives and communications plans across multiple channels (e.g., digital channels, email, events)
  • Design and execute, via global and local teams, high impact programs/projects that engage and upsell the user community to paid services via eCommerce
  • Own the analysis, reporting, and optimization of our community engagement programs/channels against Consensus and named account KPIs
  • Identify best practices and author playbooks to drive a best-in-class experience across all touch points with a user through a clearly defined user journey
  • Oversee and manage the digital promotions within community campaigns/programmes, including but not limited to SEO, PPC, Paid Media, Webinars, Organic Social, and Email
  • Use campaign analytics and pipeline data to guide future marketing activity and
  • maximise the ROI from the programme budget
  • Where required work with Product, Content and Field Marketing to define the nurture
  • streams and content needed for the programmes
  • Track and communicate programme progress against monthly, quarterly and annual
  • set goals; monitor and analyse channel and programme performance with the aim to
  • identify gaps and propose solutions
  • Tightly collaborate with the Field and BDR team to equip and guide them to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of following up community opportunities driven through the direct sales team

The successful candidate is deeply passionate about understanding customer needs, motivations, and behaviour. You will delight in uncovering insights that help create a better customer experience and will intimately understand the lifecycle of user engagement with the software. The successful candidate will be an analytical marketer, and be able to work effectively with the rest of Marketing to turn analytical insights into integrated programmes with clear, measurable pipeline outcomes, based on acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention KPIs..

Your skills

  • Experience of using modern marketing and sales automation systems, with specific
  • focus on using data to drive continuous improvement in programme effectiveness.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in community and/ or customer marketing in a global B2B technology business
  • Bachelors degree is required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in successfully taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Demonstrable relevant professional experience in customer relationship marketing, including experience in lifecycle program creation/management.
  • Strong influencer with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Be comfortable in getting hands dirty to get things done
  • Fluency in English1-2 years of integrated marketing or digital marketing experience in an enterprise software environment is required.
  • Demonstrable track record of building large, vibrant communities online across multiple social media channels, and ideally at a global level.
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) and Marketing Automation platforms to execute, track and manage marketing campaigns
